3.1 - Random Death Match (RDM) - Killing another citizen without a proper and clear motive is prohibited. For example, it is unrealistic to take someone’s life because he or she hits your car.  You must have a valid and realistic reason to be taking another citizen’s life.
  • 3.1.a - Mass Random Death Match (Mass RDM) - Killing another citizen without a proper and clear motive is prohibited. For example, it is unrealistic to take someone’s life because he or she hits your car.  You must have a valid and realistic reason to be taking another citizen’s life.

3.2 - Vehicle Death Match (VDM) -  Along the same lines as RDM (see 1.1), you may not run over another citizen with your vehicle at random. You are permitted to run someone over if they are standing in the front of your vehicle pointing a weapon at you, but you are not permitted to do so to save the life of someone else.
  • 3.2.a - ((VDM) Ramming) The ramming at high speeds needs to stop or you will be punished for VDM.
  • 3.2.b - Mass VDM - You may not run over a bunch of citizens with your vehicle at random.

3.3 - Meta Gaming - Using a third party program or person to gain information outside of roleplay in the city is not allowed. This includes but is not limited to stream sniping, out of character discussion in discord (via public chats, voice chats, or private messages), or out of character discussion via other methods.

3.4 - Power Gaming - Cheating in any form is prohibited. This includes but is not limited to the below outlined examples, and will be met with punishment if discovered and/or reported.

3.5 - Evading via Locked Properties - If you are being pursued by Police, you are not allowed to enter a locked property (owned house, apartment, etc) to escape them.

3.6 - GTA Driving - Isn't permitted but only allowed to make small realistic jumps unless you land on all four wheels you can carry on, if you don't, you will have to roleplay it as a crash.

3.7 - Combat Logging - If you are in an ongoing scenario, you must stay until it comes to an end. Logging out of the city in the middle of a scenario or to avoid an ending you do not like is not permitted.
  • 3.7.1 - Disconnections - If you disconnect from the game due to a game crash, an internet issue, or power issue, you are required to state in making a ticket within discord and state a time when you will be coming back. Failure to do so will result in punishment. A warning will be issued without reasonable explanation.

3.8 - Fail Roleplay - Unrealistic roleplay or fail roleplay is not allowed. For example, driving while handcuffed, driving a vehicle while carrying another citizen, or trying to speed away and shoot at an officer for a routine traffic stop.

3.9 - Out of Character - Out of character (OOC) is used for asking questions related to gameplay, such as “How do I use my seatbelt?”. OOC should not be used for complaining about roleplay issues with VDM/RDM etc. If a rule is broken, let the scene continue to the end before making a ticket or a report (same goes with all rules).

3.10 - Stay in Character - Citizens are required to always stay in character with serious roleplay standards regardless of the situation. This includes but is not limited to if there is a rule break (roleplay out the situation and open a ticket in the discord to file a report), if there are not many people in the city, etc. In the event that there is an issue that breaks rule 1.1 regarding respect, rules 3.1 or 3.2 regarding death matches, or someone is getting involved in a scene that they are clearly not a part of, please still try to roleplay out leaving the scenario and reach out to staff in discord or via /report in city to get help with the situation.

3.11 - Being Away From Keyboard (AFK) - Reports regarding actions that happen while a player is AFK but left their citizen in town will be discarded. Do not make a ticket, as you were still in the city and you are still expected to roleplay out the scenario as if you had not been AFK.

3.12 - New Life Rule (NLR) - If your character dies in roleplay and is not revived by EMS, you must follow the New Life Rule. You are expected to forget all knowledge 15 minutes prior to your death but you can remember any jobs you obtain and people around the city. After respawning you are not allowed to “seek revenge” or hold any grudges against parties involved with the death of your character.

3.13 - Spawn Killing - Attacking, killing, robbing, or otherwise messing with anyone who has just joined the server and is still getting situated in the clothing menu is prohibited. Not only is this creating a poor experience for a new citizen, it is fail roleplay and could bug their game and their character, causing further issues.

3.14 - NITRP No intent to roleplay - If you don't comply with a simple traffic stop you will be punished for (NITRP), if you have drugs on you etc pull over then if they want to search you then you can make off!

3.15 - Hostages - Hostages can be friends, members of a group/ gang, if the police catch you out you must deal with the consequences without reporting
  • 3.15.1 - Time Limit - Max time for a hostage is 30 minutes unless staff have given permission for a longer time with the ok from the hostage
  • 3.15.2 - WHL Numbers - Police: 4 to 1, Mechanics: 3 to 1 (only if outside shop, baiting players to go out of green zone is prohibited), NHS are green players

3.16 - Whitelisted Jobs - If you work for a whitelisted business/gang you are expected to have a higher roleplay quality compared to other parties. You are expected to know the rules more than the average player and are trusted to set an example by following the server rules. If you leave/get fired from a whitelisted job for example Police, you will be placed on a 7 day cooldown before joining another whitelisted role.

3.17 - Pocket Wipe - It is prohibited to pocket wipe another member of the community without a valid RP reason. Pocket wiping with no genuine reason will result in a punishment. You are not to pocket wipe police (i.e. tasers, guns (of any sort), or any other police gear)
